This is my first album, written and recorded when I was fifteen years old. It's the sound of someone figuring out how to make music for the first time, hence its lo-fi, rustic charm, as I'll put it.
It's a semi-autobiographical concept record about the titular Recluse overcoming a particularly nasty depressive episode. Cheery stuff.

I admire it greatly for helping me to gain enough confidence to put myself out there, and really try and make my songs heard. I listen to the naive boy playing these songs, and I almost don't recognise myself. How people change.
